About The Position

Alleima USA LLC Scranton Hot Flow (PEXCO) is looking for a Maintenance Technician in Clarks Summit PA. This role as Maintenance Technician will be responsible for mechanical or electrical maintenance operations. The technician will analyze, prepare, plan and carry out small to medium sized improvements on machines and equipment, and if necessary, order and take lead on actions performed by contractors. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, performing corrective actions, supporting planning and preparation, monitoring outcomes, and documentation. The role requires adherence to standard operating procedures, achievement of maintenance targets, following quality and cleanliness standards, communication of operational status and deviations, and maintaining safety and housekeeping (5S) requirements. Continuous improvement and development on a personal and operational level, along with specific or expert competence within a specific area, are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

Previous industrial experience
High school diploma or GED
Demonstrated competence in troubleshooting and diagnosis of a variety of complex electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
Basic computer skills
Work well in a team environment
Show a high level of initiative
Possess ability to work any shift and be available for emergency call and work when required

Nice To Haves

Trade school degree preferred
Welding and/or fitting skills are a plus

Responsibilities

Mechanical or Electrical maintenance operations.
Analyze, prepare, plan and carry out small to medium sized improvements on machines and equipment (major sized improvements if necessary).
If necessary order and take lead on actions performed by contractors.
Preventive maintenance, perform corrective actions, supports planning and preparation, monitors outcome, documentation (outcome, root cause, time, improvements).
Work in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Achievement of maintenance targets.
Follow quality and cleanliness standards.
Communication of operational status and any deviations.
Safety and housekeeping (5S) requirements.
Continuous improvements and development on a personal and operational level.
Specific or expert competence within a specific area.
