MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - 2ND SHIFT
About The Position
Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a skilled Multicraft Maintenance Technician for their 2nd shift operations in Cheswick, PA. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you will perform a wide range of industrial maintenance tasks. Requirements
- 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn multi-craft skills
- Ability to work assigned shift (2nd)
- Ability to work weekends and extended hours
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Technical degree or certification (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, etc.)
- Experience in corrugated packaging, printing, converting, or manufacturing
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Diagnosing breakdowns and restoring equipment quickly and safely
- Performing preventive and predictive maintenance
- Working closely with production and other maintenance team members
- Continuously expanding technical skills through paid training and advancement programs
