About The Position

The Sullivan is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their Property Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure that buildings and facilities are safe, functional, and in good condition. This is an hourly, non-exempt position based on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and work orders.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects or work in tight spaces.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
• Valid driver’s license (if travel between sites is required).
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check, Non-DOT Testing, and MVR.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems.
• Repair or replace faulty equipment, fixtures, and appliances.
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas, including janitorial duties when needed.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety codes and company policies.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Assist with building renovations, installations, or furniture assembly.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and request replacements when necessary.
• Collaborate with contractors or vendors when specialized repairs are needed.
