About The Position
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing issues with manufacturing equipment and performing necessary repairs. This role also includes general building maintenance and repairs.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance processes.
- Critical thinking ability to troubleshoot and identify malfunctions.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and precautions.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working on manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines, welding machines, laser machines, press brakes, forklifts, etc. preferred.
- Preferred previous technical experience.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose issues with manufacturing equipment and perform necessary repairs.
- Perform general building maintenance and repairs.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment and systems.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Carry out various plumbing and carpentry tasks.
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, digital voltmeters (DVM), and material handling equipment.
- Identify and resolve electrical issues as they arise.
