Cottonwood Residential is hiring an experienced apartment Maintenance Technician to join their team at Lake St. James apartments in Conyers, GA. This role involves performing various repairs including plumbing, electrical work, and general carpentry. Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with customers, process Company paperwork, and interpret safety and operating manuals and procedures.
• Must be able to move, carry, reposition, or lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and ability to navigate elevation changes while maintaining balance.
• Frequent need to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, push/pull, and ability to navigate difficult terrain and access small areas.
• Ability to work standard community hours, including evenings and weekends.
• EPA certification Type II or Universal is required.
• Considerable experience troubleshooting HVAC.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Nice To Haves

• CPO certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs that may include, but are not limited to, plumbing, electrical work, and general carpentry work related to household, building, and property grounds repairs.
• Work as an on-call technician and provide after-hours emergency service with the support of the Service Manager while following Company standards.
