About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining all equipment, including mechanical equipment, installations, and product changeovers. This role also involves building maintenance, welding, fabrication, minor sheet metal work, and electrical troubleshooting. The technician will provide daily preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production and auxiliary equipment such as forklifts, pressure washers, and HVAC units. They will also support the installation of company machinery and equipment, provide technical support to operations staff, and coordinate with contractors and suppliers. A key aspect of this role is to ensure all safety policies are complied with, reporting and fixing any unsafe activities.

Requirements

Mechanical assemblies (gearboxes, drives etc.)
Preventive maintenance
Hydraulics & Pneumatics
SAP
Basic electrical knowledge (3 phase, breakers, schematic reading, etc.)
Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 1 or more years related training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Provide daily preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of production and auxiliary equipment, including forklifts, pressure washer, rooftop units, heating and cooling units according to our policy
Support the installation of company machines and equipment
Provide technical and problem-solving support for the Operations staff
Work with contractors and supplies for advice on maintenance related issues
Coordinate maintenance tasks around production needs as best as possible
Comply with all safety policies. Report all unsafe activities and fix safety issues
