Maintenance Technician - Fredericton, NB
About The Position
Killam Apartment REIT, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is one of Canada's largest residential real estate investment trusts, owning, operating, and developing a $5.3 billion portfolio of apartments and manufactured home communities. Killam's strategy to drive value and profitability focuses on three priorities: (1) increase earnings from the existing portfolio; (2) expand the portfolio and diversify geographically through accretive acquisitions, targeting newer properties and dispositions of non-core assets; and (3) develop high-quality properties in its core markets. We are currently searching for a Maintenance Technician to support our Fredericton Maintenance team for a six (6) month term. Requirements
- Experience in a similar role
- Ability to work as a team, and also under minimal supervision
- Effective, proven skills and experience
- Plumbing experience, general trades experience
- Must have own vehicle
Nice To Haves
- Renovations experience an asset
- General knowledge of electrical an asset
Responsibilities
- Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware
- Maintain, repair and renovate residences
- General maintenance and/or painting
- Knowledge of plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, etc.
- Flooring installation
- All other duties as required
