About The Position

Morgan Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician for their 160-unit East Brunswick community. This role is crucial in delivering an exceptional resident experience by maintaining the quality and safety of the community. The Maintenance Technician will partner closely with a Senior Service Manager and is expected to have experience in HVAC and plumbing, enjoy troubleshooting, and take ownership of their work. Requirements

Hands-on HVAC and plumbing experience required
Experience with drywall, carpentry, appliance repair, and general maintenance
Ability to prioritize work orders and apartment turns in a fast-paced environment
Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
Ability to commute within 30 minutes of East Brunswick, NJ
1-3 years of maintenance experience or equivalent hands-on training

Nice To Haves

EPA/HVAC Certification preferred

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and complete service requests with a strong emphasis on HVAC, plumbing, drywall, and carpentry repairs.
Complete apartment turns (make-readies), preventative maintenance, and routine property maintenance.
Maintain the interior and exterior of the community to company standards and safety requirements.
Communicate professionally with residents and office team members while providing outstanding customer service.
Partner with your maintenance team to identify issues proactively and contribute to efficient daily operations.
