About The Position

Habitat America, LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician for Cascades of Frederick, a senior apartment community. This position is responsible for all technical matters related to general apartment maintenance, including responding to maintenance tickets, assisting with unit turnovers, and participating in an after-hours on-call rotation. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• 2+ years prior apartment maintenance experience.
• Experience with appliance repairs, general carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical work, drywall and painting.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Requires extensive mobility and excellent physical condition.
• Must be able to understand and oversee work performed by contractors.
• Must have a pleasant and professional demeanor at all times.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC & CFC certifications are a plus.
• HVAC/CFC Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to technical maintenance tickets.
• Assist with unit turnovers.
• Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation.
• Oversee work performed by contractors.
