About The Position

The Maintenance Technician will be part of a team responsible for ensuring timely repair of equipment as well as develop preventative maintenance measures on all equipment. Help to source spare parts within budget and keep readily in stock.

Requirements

5+ years of previous manufacturing maintenance experience
Electrical Circuits – Industrial Motor Controls, Variable Frequency Drives
Heating/Air Condition and Ventilation Controls and Equipment repair and maintenance
Basic Electricity
Basic Welding & Cutting
Hydraulic & Pneumatic Principles
Blueprint Reading
Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
Able to perform the following for extended periods of time: Standing or sitting, Climbing/squatting/walking, Repetitive motions and lifting

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of and experience with dehumidifiers (Munters or equivalent)
HVAC diagnosis and repair
Machine Shop machine operation - mill/drill/ lathe
Self-driven, independent, and capable of solving problems on the fly
Passionate about the work, the team, and the planet
Ability to work in a diverse, intellectually-challenging, and rapid-paced team

Responsibilities

Perform work consisting of, but not limited to, the installation, testing, maintenance, repair and adjustment of plant machinery and equipment.
Diagnose and correct machinery and equipment defects.
Changes and maintains batteries on powered equipment.
Work from drawings, sketches, prints and schematic diagrams.
Make detailed sketches for the manufacture of repair parts by others.
Use cutting and welding equipment; Proficient use of hand tools.
Install conduit, wire, motors, switchgear, switches, contactors, and control devices.
Maintain quality standards.
Maintain good housekeeping.
Adhere to plant regulations and safety rules.
Utilize all necessary tools, manuals and equipment to efficiently perform the job.
