About The Position

This role involves writing schematics, electrical inspection procedures, and documentation related to electrician tools, safety codes, and regulations. The technician will design and deploy electrical solutions, leveraging experience with various electrical systems and projects. Expertise in electrical cabinet architecture is required for developing and constructing efficient cabinet systems. The position includes implementing and monitoring controls to ensure the quality of machine and component fabrication and design, leading inspection activities for electrical systems, predicting quality inspection trends, and recommending updates to maintain system reliability. The role also oversees the maintenance of all electrical equipment and provides consulting on electrician services. Establishing norms, standards, and guidelines for electrical services is crucial for compliance and efficiency. The technician will demonstrate advanced skills in repairing, maintaining, and diagnosing mechanical and electrical equipment in an industrial setting, applying extensive experience in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals. Knowledge of common drafting tools, procedures, processes, blueprints, and technical drawing specifications is necessary. The role involves interpreting functional and technical blueprints, structures, technical components, and maintaining/updating technical drawings and specifications throughout equipment maintenance. Translating process flow diagrams and equipment technical drawings, inspecting critical equipment for compliance with drawings, specifications, and designs, and performing routine installation and maintenance tasks onsite according to technical drawings and specifications are key responsibilities. The position also requires leading and participating in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools; determining customer needs and business priorities; coordinating and executing work assignments; providing advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved; and modeling and helping others adapt to change or new challenges. Developing, communicating, and implementing processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners, analyzing and applying information from multiple sources, monitoring progress and results, and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities are also essential. Requirements

Must be 18 years of age
2 years of experience repairing/maintaining/diagnosing mechanical or electrical equipment in an industrial setting
experience working with blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
1 year’s experience working with blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
