About The Position

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for conducting tests and repairs of inspection equipment, maintaining and servicing inspection facilities. This role involves working with Tuboscope Engineering on training for repairing new and current inspection inventory. The technician will also troubleshoot and repair electronic, electrical, and/or mechanical equipment, including PIC controlled equipment and AC/DC drives. Other work-related tasks as assigned and compliance with NOV company and HSE procedures and policies are also part of the role.

Requirements

• Two-year technical degree and/or experience
• Domestic travel required
• Must be able to lift minimum 50lbs
• Must be able to work in dirty/noisy conditions
• Must be able to work rotating on call service
• Must be able to drive NOV company vehicle
• Must be able to communicate and work with service and operations personnel
• Must be self-motivated and able to take on new challenges
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Must be able to pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Conduct test and repair of inspection equipment
• Maintain and service inspection facilities
• Work with Tuboscope Engineering on training to repair new units as well as current inspection inventory
• Repair and troubleshoot electronic, electrical and/or mechanical equipment
• Troubleshoot PIC controlled equipment
• Troubleshoot AC/DC drives
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned
• Comply with all NOV company and HSE procedures and policies
