About The Position

At Bedrock Property Management, we are looking for a Maintenance Technician who will be a key team player in the upkeep of the property. This role involves responding to service requests and completing repairs promptly, with a strong background in plumbing, general carpentry, and appliance repairs. We are not an ordinary property management group and pride ourselves on doing business with smarts while being unexpected. Requirements

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, leadership, and residents.
  • Outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines efficiently.
  • A passion for chasing excellence and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Operating computers and other technological devices to access email, and company-utilized software.
  • Candidates must hold at least one of the following certifications. If not currently certified, the selected candidate must obtain the required certification within 60 days of employment: EPA Section 608 Certification (HVAC), HVAC Certification.
  • Frequently sit, stand and walk.
  • Regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
  • CPO (Certified Pool Operator)
  • Plumbing or Electrical Licenses

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of property by maintaining and repairing issues across parking lot, buildings, and all common areas.
  • Clean out vacated apartments.
  • Assist the Groundskeeper with service requests as needed.
  • Address issues with landscaping and snow/ice removal.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and coworkers even in difficult situations.
  • Meet task deadlines as assigned.
  • Provides exemplary customer service to all residents proactively solving issues, and creating a warm and welcoming environment for all.
  • Maintains the physical condition of the property.
  • Utilizes hand tools and power tools to participate in upkeep.
  • Picks up debris and removes other objects from the property.
  • Responds to issues outside of normal work schedule when required.
  • Professional and timely responses to all work orders.
  • Follows all company policies and procedures.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
