About The Position
Catalent’s Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses. We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Technician-General to join our team. In this role, you will help maintain the buildings, common areas, and campus grounds. Your work ensures the facility operates smoothly and supports the success of the company. This position involves performing general maintenance, coordinating cleaning services, and assisting with upkeep activities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 2+ years of experience in general maintenance, facilities maintenance, or building repair
- Meticulous approach to inspections and documentation.
Nice To Haves
- 4 years of related experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance such as changing light bulbs, repairing door hardware, fixing furniture, and maintaining exterior property including snow removal.
- Coordinate cleaning needs of the building with the cleaning service provider and manage trash removal services.
- Perform basic repairs that do not require specialized technicians, including painting, repairing fixtures, and fixing basic building system breakdowns.
- Conduct routine maintenance on building systems.
- Assist with the general upkeep of facilities.
- Repair minor drywall damage, ceilings, and flooring as needed.
- Support any after-hours building needs and activities as required.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
