About The Position

The Maintenance role supports the overall upkeep, reliability, and safe operation of the facility by performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and ensuring work areas and equipment remain in good working condition. This position plays an important operational support role by helping prevent downtime, addressing minor facility issues promptly, and coordinating with the Maintenance Manager for larger or more complex repairs. The Maintenance position contributes to a clean, orderly, and safe working environment across the plant.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in facility, building, or general maintenance work (or relevant trade/hand-on experience).
  • Moderate mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Understanding of workplace safety practices and a commitment to following all safety procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environments (indoors/outdoors, heights, tight spaces).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance tasks, facility systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC), or maintenance work order systems is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks including basic repairs and equipment checks.
  • Execute Preventative Maintenance Schedules and assists with special projects.
  • Inspect work areas, tools, and equipment to identify repair needs, safety hazards, or operational issues, and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and correctly.
  • Respond to maintenance requests from departments in a timely and customer-focused manner.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, parts used, and issues identified.
  • Collaborate with production, safety, and facility teams to help ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
  • Assist with inventory of maintenance supplies, parts, and materials as assigned.
  • Support facility preparation during seasonal changes, shutdowns, or special projects.
  • Troubleshoot machine trouble calls to include electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
  • Ability to complete forklift and scissor lift training certifications.
