About The Position

This position involves performing a variety of maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure the building and its equipment are in good working order. Responsibilities include general janitorial duties, minor repairs, equipment inspection and troubleshooting, safety system checks, and collaborating with other professionals. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction. Essential functions include a willingness to work with chemicals and get dirty, the ability to use hand and electrical tools, and good physical condition to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Requirements

Proven experience as assistant director or other similar position
Basic knowledge of production equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems
Experience using hand and electrical tools
Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
Very good communication and interpersonal skills
Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
Must be 18 years old
Detail oriented
Skill and ability of working with your hands, manual tools (must provide your own) and other instruments
Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand & work on your feet for 8+ hours a day and under pressure at times
Have a Can-Do Attitude, with good time management, communication and decision-making skills
Self-starting and motivated; believe in teamwork and uphold the ability to always help others
Adhere to all safety rules, give it your all every day, must have regular, reliable, and predictable attendance

Nice To Haves

Successful completion of an apprenticeship will be a plus
High school diploma preferred
Automotive/mechanical ability a plus
Willingness and understanding you will get dirty at times, and may have to work with chemicals

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping, and janitorial tasks.
Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks and filling gaps on walls.
Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
Install appliances and equipment.
Perform garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash, and ensuring the exterior of the building is clean and tidy.
Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and changing filters.
Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g., replace pumps).
Check functionality of safety systems, such as fire alarms.
Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations.
Report to facilities or maintenance manager for issues.
Follow directions from team leads, supervisors, and managers.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Adhere to all safety rules, have great attendance, and give it your all every day.
