About The Position

Morgan Properties offers a full-time paid training program, the Fix It Forward Program, designed to train individuals to become Maintenance Technicians. No prior apartment maintenance experience is needed. The program is ideal for dependable individuals who are ready to learn and enjoy hands-on work. It typically runs for 3 to 6 months, with a schedule of 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, starting May 18, 2026, in Fort Washington, MD. Trainees will progress through three levels: Beginner (focusing on safety, tools, and basic tasks), Intermediate (involving more repairs with less supervision), and Advanced (handling complex work and preparing for a permanent role). Participants receive raises at each training level and a final increase upon permanent hire. Upon successful completion, trainees will transition into a permanent Maintenance Technician role with full benefits.
