About The Position

Morgan Properties offers a full-time paid training program, the 'Fix It Forward Program,' designed to train individuals to become Maintenance Technicians. No prior apartment maintenance experience is required. The program is structured into three levels: Beginner (focus on safety, tools, basic tasks), Intermediate (more repairs, less supervision), and Advanced (complex work, preparing for a permanent role). The training duration is typically 3 to 6 months, with pay increases at each level. Participants will learn HVAC basics, plumbing basics, electrical basics, appliance repair, apartment turns, groundskeeping, preventative maintenance, customer service, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic maintenance tasks (Beginner level)
  • Execute repairs with less supervision (Intermediate level)
  • Handle complex maintenance work (Advanced level)

  • Learn and apply electrical basics
  • Learn and perform appliance repair
