About The Position

Greenline Apartment Management owns and manages apartment communities throughout Houston, TX. We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician / Ticket Runner to join our maintenance team at our Clear Lake area properties.

Requirements

  • Previous apartment or property maintenance experience preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently.
  • Must be dependable, organized, and safety-conscious.

Nice To Haves

  • Troubleshoot and perform repairs related to: Major appliances, Basic to intermediate plumbing, Basic to intermediate electrical work, when no license is required, Drywall/sheetrock, General carpentry, Flooring and tile installation and repairs, Painting and wallpaper, Pest control, if required by the property, Roof and gutter repairs, Foundations and sidewalks, General apartment and property maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Complete work orders and repairs accurately, safely, and in a timely manner.
  • Assist the Service Manager with daily maintenance operations and service requests.
  • Help ensure service requests are completed within 24 hours or according to community guidelines.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Assist with inventory management of parts, tools, and supplies.
  • Perform and support preventive maintenance programs.
  • Inspect buildings, grounds, and community amenities to identify maintenance and safety concerns.
  • Help maintain the property according to company standards for safety, appearance, and curb appeal.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with residents, vendors, coworkers, and supervisors.
  • Assist with apartment turnovers and make-ready work as needed.
  • Follow all company safety, hazard communication, and maintenance policies and procedures.
  • Participate in technical training to maintain and improve maintenance skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
