About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance tasks at a residential apartment community. This includes troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining property systems to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained living environment for residents. This position is Tuesday through Saturday 8am to 5pm.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
1+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential or property management
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
Ability to communicate effectively with team members

Nice To Haves

Experience in apartment maintenance or multi-family housing
Trade school or certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems
OSHA or safety training

Responsibilities

Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance throughout the community
Assist with the upkeep of grounds, amenities, and common areas
Prepare apartments for move-in by performing repairs, painting touch-ups, and cleaning
Ensure tools, supplies, and equipment are properly maintained and stored
Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
Elect to participate in the voluntary Opt-In Emergency Call Assistance Program
Follow all safety protocols, building codes, and company procedures
Assist in inventory control of maintenance supplies
Support community events or property inspections as requested
Provide backup coverage for porter/janitorial duties when needed
Other duties as assigned
