The Maintenance Technician will keep the property clean and free of debris and complete repairs on a regular basis. This role involves utilizing experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance and construction for multi-family and commercial property. The technician will be responsible for plumbing maintenance and troubleshooting, electrical wiring, lighting fixture installation, drywall and texturing installation and repair, HVAC troubleshooting and repair, appliance installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting. Additionally, the role includes work order processing, coordinating with property managers and staff for timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance tasks, efficient materials planning, coordinating maintenance staff or vendors, ensuring vacant apartments are made ready within 7 days, coordinating with contractors, communicating with residents about repair timelines, completing pre-moveout inspections, and updating/closing out work orders in the PM software.
