About The Position

Scot Forge is a 130-year-old, 100% employee-owned company that manufactures custom open die and rolled ring forgings used in demanding applications all over the world. We help our customers with forged solutions for physical infrastructure, energy, transportation, manufacturing, mining, and national defense. This role involves performing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting, diagnosing, rebuilding, and repairing plant equipment and heavy industrial machinery. The position also includes documenting repairs, performing LOTO procedures, preventative and predictive maintenance, and repair/fabrication welding, brazing, and torch operation. A strong emphasis is placed on actively promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of plant maintenance experience
• Blueprint reading, strong mechanical aptitude, fixing and repairs
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and PLCs
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to climb ladders and work at elevations up to 60 feet
• Perform repair and fabrication welding, brazing and torch operation
• Hair follicle pre-employment drug screen test
• Lift test up to 65 lbs.

Responsibilities
