About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician Manager to lead our maintenance team and oversee the repair, maintenance, and reliability of production equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and previous leadership or supervisory experience. This position will play a key role in developing preventative maintenance programs, coordinating repairs, minimizing equipment downtime, and ensuring the maintenance team operates safely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Previous industrial maintenance experience required
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Highly mechanically inclined
  • Ability to read and understand electrical wiring schematics
  • Strong knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance practices
  • Experience troubleshooting production machinery and industrial equipment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance needs in a fast-paced production environment
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during equipment failures
  • Clean background and pass a drug test

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory, lead, or management experience preferred
  • Welding experience with TIG, MIG, and/or Stick is a plus
  • Spanish-speaking skills are a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate the maintenance team
  • Oversee daily maintenance activities and assign work based on production needs
  • Develop, implement, and maintain preventative maintenance (PM) programs
  • Troubleshoot and oversee repairs of mechanical and electrical production equipment
  • Respond to emergency maintenance issues and equipment breakdowns
  • Read and interpret electrical wiring schematics
  • Coordinate maintenance projects and equipment repairs
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues before breakdowns occur
  • Maintain maintenance records, schedules, and documentation
  • Help manage maintenance parts, tools, and inventory
  • Work closely with production and management to minimize equipment downtime
  • Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and according to company standards
  • Train and develop maintenance team members
  • Assist with general facility maintenance as needed
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours maintenance needs
  • Work overtime and occasional weekends as required
