This role is for a Maintenance Technician II - Lift Stations in Forsyth County, GA, focused on keeping critical wastewater infrastructure operational. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on municipal wastewater lift stations, working with pumps, motors, mechanical equipment, and collection system assets in the field.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience or equivalent training.
- Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred).
- Ability to work independently, troubleshoot problems, and maintain a strong safety focus.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with pumps, motors, rotating equipment, welding, or industrial maintenance is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and equipment repairs on wastewater lift stations.
- Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, and other mechanical equipment.
- Conduct equipment testing, vibration analysis, and predictive maintenance activities.
- Assist with welding, fabrication, piping, and equipment installations.
- Maintain tools, vehicles, work orders, and maintenance records.
- Participate in emergency response and rotating on-call coverage as needed.
