As one of over 100 Tosoh Corporation's family of companies our motto is "We Make the Material That Makes Your Devices Work" Position Charter Technician IV supports preventive maintenance (PM) activities, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment and facility related issues. The Technician IV leads team related projects, and updates maintenance/facility related procedures. Technician IV supports training others on equipment related issues

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft programs: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work effectively with different personnel throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Advanced understanding equipment and systems repair and PM.
  • Ability to document and effectively communicate the work performed.
  • Advanced understanding of tools and test equipment.
  • Advanced problem-solving, troubleshooting skills, and critical thinking.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent at documenting the work performed and equipment status pass downs.
  • May work from settings requiring ladders, lifts, or from the rooftop and other situations requiring exposure to heights.
  • Frequent bending/twisting required.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) as defined by process.

Responsibilities

  • Mentors and trains technicians.
  • Ability to lead team projects.
  • Works on assigned equipment and PM related work orders.
  • Creates and updates PM Procedures
  • Works unsupervised.
  • Understands facility and equipment shutdown and startup processes.
  • Assists with maintaining facility security.
  • Ability to read and interpret facility and equipment drawings.
  • Demonstrates flexibility of schedule when pursuing training opportunities to achieve personal and company objectives.
  • Understands and adheres to all safety requirements.
  • Communicates identified risks to leadership and assists in resolution.
  • Completes all 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) standards to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Contributes to culture through alignment with company values and code of conduct.
  • Maintains a positive attitude, displays enthusiasm for assigned tasks, and communicates effectively and professionally with team members.
  • Other related duties.
