About The Position

Stella-Jones Corporation is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our Operations team! This role is for hands-on problem solvers who love keeping heavy equipment and plant machinery running smoothly. Requirements

• 2+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Comfortable with welding (including pipe welding), hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Don't mind working in an outdoor yard environment, dealing with the elements, and handling shift work in a 24/7 operation.
• Great communicator who enjoys solving complex, real-world mechanical problems.

Nice To Haves

• A one-year certificate from a college or technical school is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and repair plant machinery and our mobile equipment fleet (fueling, oil changes, and minor repairs).
• Take ownership of our Preventative Maintenance (PM) program to keep downtime to a minimum.
• Use your troubleshooting skills on hydraulics, pumps, valves, and electrical systems.
• Show off your skills in welding and metal fabrication.
• Read schematics, interpret electrical drawings, and document your work so the whole team stays informed.
• Contribute to our safety culture—ensuring everyone goes home safe at the end of the shift.
