About The Position

The Maintenance Technician III performs a variety of tasks and assignments including the maintenance and repair of production equipment and facility infrastructure. A key focus will be on equipment reliability, safety, troubleshooting, and process improvement projects. In this role, you will repair blowers, vacuum pumps, augers, gas furnaces, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and troubleshoot electrical components such as contactors, switches, relays, and controllers. You will walk the production line daily to identify abnormalities, troubleshoot production issues with support from the maintenance team and/or engineering, and support the installation of new equipment, retrofitting of old equipment, and facility capital projects. Additionally, you will educate operators to improve day-to-day machine operations, update documents as needed, order parts, and build materials lists for upcoming projects. You will work as a team or independently, maintain an organized and safe work area, wear required Personal Protective Equipment, and safely perform duties while observing approved safety procedures. You may be exposed to outdoor working conditions and dusty or dirty environments. Occasionally, you will be on-call for a full week, including weekends and nights, as part of the team rotation and complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Tech
  • Experience working on large industrial equipment like high-temperature furnaces, rotary piston vacuum pumps, powder transfer systems, etc.
  • Electrical component knowledge to troubleshoot motor starters, relays, pressure switches, temp controllers, etc.
  • Ability to read P&IDs, wiring schematics, and engineering drawings
  • Candidate must be a permanent resident of the U.S. to comply with export control laws
  • Willing to adapt to changing responsibilities based on production priorities
  • Able to identify areas to improve or create PM procedures to reduce equipment failures
  • Able to climb stairs and ladders, and safely lift 50 lbs
  • Able to pass pre-employment physical
  • Candidate must have the capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws
  • Some Flexibility in working schedule due to projects, breakdown situations, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic welding knowledge preferred
  • Experience in working in an ISO 9001/14001/45001 and AS9100 environment is a plus
