Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in related field of study from an accredited college or university required or equivalent military/industry training, which includes a thorough understanding of mechanical, electrical & control systems and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing industry required
  • In lieu of Associate's Degree with five (5) years of experience, may consider a High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience required
  • Demonstrated experience in leading equipment troubleshooting, preventative and predictive maintenance, root cause analysis required
  • Demonstrated ability to train & mentor team members on maintenance processes & technical documentation (SOPs & PMs, SAP) required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in planning/organizing work, managing execution, checking results & revising the work plan in accordance with the daily work plan a plus

Responsibilities

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures in performance of assigned duties
  • Develop & establish maintenance procedures, maintenance plans & spare parts lists for processes assigned
  • Lead and perform corrective & preventative maintenance on assigned process in a timely manner
  • Ability to interpret mechanical & electrical specifications, drawings & other technical data sheets
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, night shifts, extended shifts and/or weekends
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are correctly documented in SAP
  • Partner with process owners to actively improve performance & reliability of process equipment
  • Develop, coach and train the maintenance team in areas of expertise, as well as learning new systems
  • Lead team in Systematic Problem Solving (SPS) tools to establish Root Cause Analysis & resolve equipment issues
  • Work with Process Owners on practical changes or improvements to equipment & department work practices.
  • Collaborate with Engineers & Manufacturing personnel to troubleshoot equipment problems
  • Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties
  • Other accountabilities, as assigned
