About The Position

Anderson University invites applications for a 12-month, full-time, Maintenance Technician II to join the Department of Campus Facilities. The Maintenance Technician’s primary responsibility is to ensure that the infrastructure of the University is maintained for safe and effective working conditions. Successful candidates will be able to perform a variety of semi-skilled construction, maintenance, modification, and repair activities in assigned maintenance operations areas. The ability to perform physical and manual tasks in indoor and outdoor environments and operate hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner is essential to this position. Maintenance Technician II is the experienced-level class requiring 3+ yrs exp. in the Maintenance Technician Series.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge and/or experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other basic maintenance trades.
• At least 21 years old
