About The Position
The Maintenance Technician II performs advanced electrical/electronic troubleshooting, VFD and PLC diagnosing, intermediate welding skills, and correcting equipment breakdowns and facility maintenance as required to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. This position also performs mechanical and electrical repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure the ongoing integrity and reliability of equipment in order to keep the plant operating safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Advanced electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills.
- VFD and PLC diagnosing skills.
- Intermediate welding skills.
- Ability to perform mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance.
- Must be able to work the 2nd Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
- Criminal history review is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Performs advanced electrical/electronic troubleshooting.
- Diagnoses VFD and PLC issues.
- Utilizes intermediate welding skills.
- Corrects equipment breakdowns and performs facility maintenance.
- Performs mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Conducts preventative maintenance.
