About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician II at Trinity Property Consultants, you will operate independently across multiple trades to complete service requests, preventative maintenance, and full turns. You will help maintain high operational standards across the property by diagnosing and repairing intermediate HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues. This role also involves participating in move-in/move-out inspections, maintaining inventory, responding to on-call and emergency service requests, and demonstrating safe operation of tools and equipment. You will also be expected to maintain personal tool inventory and complete required safety and compliance training. This role may include additional duties consistent with the position. You are expected to be solution-oriented, self-directed, and to have professional communication with residents and team members. You will take ownership of assigned work and support and guide Technician I team members when needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years maintenance experience required (multifamily preferred).
  • Intermediate-level skills across multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of appliances.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Comfortable diagnosing routine HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues.
  • Ability to complete full make-ready turns independently.
  • Safe use of meters and diagnostic tools.
  • Proficient with work-order systems and basic computer and mobile technology.
  • Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Active participation in team functions and regional or company activities is expected.

Nice To Haves

  • Universal EPA Certification is preferred.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification is preferred (where applicable).

Responsibilities

  • Independently complete service requests and make-ready turns.
  • Diagnose and repair intermediate HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and building inspections.
  • Participate in move-in/move-out inspections.
  • Maintain inventory and shop organization.
  • Respond to on-call and emergency service requests.
  • Demonstrate safe operation of tools, diagnostic equipment, and chemical safety procedures.
  • Maintain personal tool inventory.
  • Complete required safety and compliance training.
  • Support and guide Technician I team members when needed.
