As Maintenance Technician II, you will handle work orders independently, assist with preventative maintenance, and support day-to-day upkeep across the community. This role requires HVAC certification and a working knowledge of routine repairs.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Two years of apartment maintenance experience preferred
Valid Driver's License
EPA/HVAC Certification

Nice To Haves

CPO Certification is a plus

Responsibilities

Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
Complete service requests according to Hawthorne standards.
Prepare vacant apartments for new residents as per company standards.
Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with company policies.
Maintain building and common areas, ensuring they are clean and free of litter.
Keep maintenance shop organized for efficient supply inventory assessment.
Promote professional relations with residents, co-workers, and company staff.
Participate in on-call emergency service rotation.
Ensure compliance with safety guidelines as per OSHA and company policies.
Engage in special projects as needed.
