About The Position

A Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing building systems and production equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role performs preventative maintenance, responds to work orders, and supports electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and safety systems, including alarms and ventilation. The ideal candidate helps coordinate with production, maintains equipment performance standards, and keeps the maintenance shop clean and organized while ensuring all work meets health and safety requirements. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician
Ability to troubleshoot VFD and PLC systems
Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other mechanical systems
Knowledge of general maintenance processes, methods, tools, and equipment of the trade
Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
Ability to read a tape measure and other precision measuring tools
Detailed knowledge of internal combustion engines and automotive components, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
Strong mathematical aptitude

Responsibilities

Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection)
Maintain all production equipment
Clean organize maintenance shop at the end of each shift
Perform PMs on equipment and coordinate with production
Complete work orders when assigned
