About The Position
Performs electrical and mechanical repairs on production equipment, along with facility repair and maintenance. This role involves performing preventive maintenance on all scheduled equipment and facility, troubleshooting and repairing injection mold presses, and performing a variety of tasks using experience and judgment. The technician will also be involved in light machining, welding, and fixture fabrication, upholding company vision and core values.
Requirements
- High School diploma or its equivalent
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within field
- Ability to problem solve identify errors and deficiencies and perform research with limited guidance
- Ability to apply knowledge to their job function using pre-established guidelines and instructions
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and thoroughness
- Computer skills
- Proficient communications skills
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude
- Ability to comprehend and comply with company safety and quality standards
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Basic hand tools
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, and mechanical systems; proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
- 5+ years of relevant maintenance experience in an industrial or commercial setting (or demonstrated progression in a maintenance technician role).
- Responsible for understanding and complying with all SPG and Dupont safety policies and procedures
