About The Position
The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of production equipment and facility systems in a food manufacturing environment. This role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and fabrication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced operation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
- Fabrication and welding experience required
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime
- Ability to stand, climb, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
Nice To Haves
- Technical training preferred
- Food manufacturing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems (110V, 208V, 460V)
- Rebuild motors, gearboxes, and pumps
- Fabricate and repair conveyors, frames, and production components
- Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Repair air lines and pneumatic systems
- Install and wire cameras and Redzone sensors
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other equipment
- Follow OSHA and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Work safely at heights over 50 feet
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
