The company is seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Technician for Kenzie Park, a 312-unit residential community in San Antonio, TX. The Maintenance Technician II role is crucial to AL’s success, potentially involving due diligence, community acquisition/disposition, and participation in company-sponsored committees. The technician is ultimately responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance operation of the property under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager. A new bonus structure is in place, providing a $100 stipend for on-call duty (plus overtime) and bonuses up to $250 based on make-ready status and work order completion.

Requirements

• Prior experience in multi-family housing as a maintenance technician
• HVAC Certified
• Electrical & plumbing skills / trouble shooting ability
• Irrigation knowledge

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the property.
• Responding to work orders within 24 hours
• Complete the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing
• Complete paperwork in a timely, accurate, and complete fashion so that service requests can be appropriately documented and tracked
• Tracking inventory used
• Notifying the Maintenance Supervisor about re-ordering needs
