About The Position
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading manufacturing company to hire level II Industrial Maintenance Technicians. This role is for a hands-on problem solver who thrives on troubleshooting complex equipment, maintaining advanced automation systems, and ensuring operational excellence. In this role, you'll help keep vital material handling equipment (MHE), automation systems, facilities infrastructure, and production support systems operating safely and efficiently in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, material handling systems, or facility maintenance.
- Trade school or related education may be combined with experience.
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to use a CMMS system.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on material handling equipment (MHE), automation systems, and facility infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and robotic systems.
- Use a CMMS (work order system) to manage maintenance activities.
- Perform maintenance on lighting, plumbing, welding, carpentry, and building systems.
- Support battery maintenance and equipment inspections.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment.
