About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician II at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW) or Hyatt Vacation Club (HVC), you will assist in providing our Owners/guests with experiences and events to make memorable vacation memories, where meaningful moments are made together. You will perform mid-level repairs, respond to guest repair requests, and conduct preventive maintenance tasks. This role involves communicating with guests/Owners to resolve maintenance issues and performing general engineering-related inventory duties. You will also participate in regular training for safety, technical knowledge, and career development. The role emphasizes guest experience and adherence to company standards, including welcoming and greeting guests, anticipating their needs, and interacting professionally. You will contribute to team goals and always follow company policies and safety procedures. Requirements

  • Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
  • Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50lbs without assistance.
  • Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Performs mid-level repairs as assigned.
  • Responds and attends to guest repair requests.
  • Performs preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.
