About The Position

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to anticipate maintenance issues and provide maintenance support to the Distribution Center. Responsibilities include taking corrective action to reduce or eliminate downtime in the distribution center; providing support to other maintenance partners; providing immediate response to any problem in the conveyor systems, machinery and all other building functions; examining parts and removing defective parts by dismantling devices using hand and power tools, hoists and cranes while observing and monitoring safe operation of machinery, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems equipment and components; selecting, using and increasing existing knowledge regarding the proper use of common tools including hand and power tools; performing preventative maintenance; contacting outside vendors as necessary; ordering parts; performing daily and weekly safety checks; and providing technical guidance when required on developing, monitoring, interpreting and understanding policies and procedures, while making sure they match organizational strategies and objectives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' work experience repairing distribution center/industrial equipment in an industrial environment or the military
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on approach when support is needed
  • Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English
  • Basic skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and intranet/internet
  • High School Diploma/GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with formalized safety programs
  • Experience performing welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting and brazing
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Lockout/Tagout experience

Responsibilities
