Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of directly relevant training and experience.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must demonstrate a detailed understanding of Enbridge Safety Policies and Procedures and act in accordance with them at all times.
• Strong technical and analytical skills demonstrated through training, formal education, and/or experience.
• Communicate verbally and in writing to collect and relay basic facts.
• Willing to assist with more complex tasks, equipment, and procedures.
• Able to work with significant independence.
• Proficient in the use of standard office software applications.
• Able to work and contribute to a team environment where inclusiveness, integrity, honesty, and openness are valued.
• Currently resides or is willing to relocate within 30 miles of the assigned reporting location.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of an approved mechanical apprenticeship program or 2 year mechanical technical/vocational degree.
• Experience in maintenance of natural gas pipeline, tank farm or delivery facilities or certified technical designation.
• Familiarity with pertinent equipment (pumps, motors, valves, switchgear, programmable logic controls, motor control centers and instrumentation).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on pipeline mechanical equipment including pumps, valves, motors, seals, compressor, and measurement systems to minimize downtime and throughput losses.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and respond to emergencies as a first responder, executing lock-outs and open-system job plans safely and effectively.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with DOT regulations, company O&M procedures, and strict safety standards at every job, every time.
• Use the maintenance management system (Maximo) to document work, maintain station records, and support accurate drawings and as‑built updates.
• Collaborate closely with Mechanical and Electrical Technicians, Technical Supervisors, Control Center operators, and project teams to plan and execute maintenance and construction activities.
• Support training, mentorship, station upkeep, and outreach efforts, including coaching peers, assisting with commissioning, and engaging local first responders.
