Maintenance Technician II (Make Ready)
About The Position
American Landmark Apartments is seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Technician II for Beck at Wells Branch, a 576-unit residential community in Austin, TX. The Maintenance Technician II plays a critical role in the efficient maintenance operation of the property, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager. A new bonus structure is in place, offering a $100 stipend for on-call duty in addition to overtime, and bonuses up to $250 based on make-ready status and work order completion.
Requirements
- Prior experience in multi-family housing as a maintenance technician
- HVAC Certified
- Electrical & plumbing skills / trouble shooting ability
- Irrigation knowledge
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the property.
- Responding to work orders within 24 hours
- Complete the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing
- Complete paperwork in a timely, accurate, and complete fashion so that service requests can be appropriately documented and tracked
- Tracking inventory used
- Notifying the Maintenance Supervisor about re-ordering needs
