Our team is hands-on, responsive, and committed to delivering high-quality service and timely maintenance support. As part of the maintenance team at Forest Place, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the property is operating at its best—handling day-to-day work orders, supporting unit turns, and responding to after-hours needs when required. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One (1) year in the Maintenance Technician I position or two (2) years of previous maintenance experience, preferably in property management.
  • Intermediate skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repair.
  • Knowledge of landlord/tenant laws and property safety protocols.
  • Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation for job-related tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance repairs, and janitorial duties.
  • Follow preventative maintenance schedules and safety protocols, ensuring proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Conduct landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, and overseeing contracted landscaping vendors.
  • Coordinate with the property manager to identify maintenance needs and document completed work.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, including trash removal and exterior lighting inspections.
  • Assist in pool upkeep, including filter maintenance, pump operations, and water testing.
