The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for responding to and repairing property issues identified by our residents throughout the branch city market. This is a full-time position and reports directly to the Maintenance Lead, Supervisor, or Manager. The role involves reviewing the calendar for assigned work orders, gathering repair information, scheduling tasks, and communicating with residents. The technician will complete property maintenance within service level agreements, including property walks, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs, as well as external repairs. They are responsible for closing out work orders timely, documenting completed work with photos, and tracking supply usage. The position requires basic knowledge of technology, performing rekeying of properties, and understanding the importance of a good move-in experience with pre-move-in audits and repairs. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry is expected, with opportunities for growth and certification utilization. The role also involves providing exceptional customer service to residents, assisting peers, and maintaining fundamental business knowledge. There is an expectation of learning all aspects of the Maintenance Technician position and growing into a Maintenance Technician Lead role. Other duties may be assigned.
