About The Position
We are hiring a Maintenance Technician II to join our engineering team. The role is responsible for keeping all equipment in good working order through routine repairs and preventative maintenance checks. The technician will also assist the Chief Engineer with building and grounds maintenance, ensure a safe environment for guests and staff by meeting all safety standards, provide professional and courteous service to guests, and be a team player by assisting in other departments when needed. A thorough understanding of all emergency procedures and Job Safety Analysis guides is required.
Requirements
- Experienced in Carpentry, Dry wall and residential and commercial repair.
Responsibilities
- Keep all equipment in good working order with routine repairs and preventative maintenance checks.
- Assist the Chief Engineer on building and grounds maintenance.
- Provide a safe environment for guests and hotel staff by meeting all safety standards.
- Provide professional courteous service to guests and be accommodating to various requests.
- Be a team player and assist in other departments when help is needed.
- Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and aware of all Job Safety Analysis guides.
