We are building more than great places to live – we’re creating vibrant communities and meaningful careers. Compensation: $19 to $21 hourly, depending on experience, plus lease renewal bonuses. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with participation in an on-call rotation. Why This Role Matters: As a Maintenance Technician II, you operate independently across multiple trades. You complete service requests, preventative maintenance, and full turns with confidence while helping maintain high operational standards across the property.

Requirements

  • 2+ years maintenance experience required (multifamily preferred).
  • Intermediate-level skills across multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of appliances.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Active participation in team functions and regional or company activities is expected.

Nice To Haves

  • Universal EPA Certification is preferred.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification is preferred (where applicable).

Responsibilities

  • Independently complete service requests and make-ready turns.
  • Diagnose and repair intermediate HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and building inspections.
  • Participate in move-in/move-out inspections.
  • Maintain inventory and shop organization.
  • Respond to on-call and emergency service requests.
  • Demonstrate safe operation of tools, diagnostic equipment, and chemical safety procedures.
  • Maintain personal tool inventory.
  • Complete required safety and compliance training.
  • This role may include additional duties consistent with the position.
