The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for keeping Production, HVAC, facility equipment, and infrastructure in good working order. This role involves detecting and correcting errors before damage occurs to machinery or products, operating equipment as required, and potentially disassembling equipment for repair or replacement of parts. The technician is expected to have expertise in electrical, electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics to repair sophisticated equipment. After repairs, the technician must test the machine to ensure it is running correctly and smoothly. Responsibilities also include performing tear downs, rebuilds, and preventive maintenance, as well as participating in the development and training of Maintenance Technician I employees. The role requires working a flexible schedule, including overtime as needed based on production demands, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Adherence to and communication of Health, Safety, and Quality policies, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Other duties as assigned.
