About The Position

Simpson Housing is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the Glenhaven Apartment Homes, a 402-unit luxury community in Hutto, TX. This role is crucial in maintaining the property to ensure a high-quality living experience for residents. The Maintenance Technician II will be a key member of the property maintenance team, responsible for the upkeep and repair of the community's assets.

Requirements

1+ years of related general maintenance experience
General knowledge and experience with HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair and basic carpentry
CPO certification required (can be obtained after hire)
Fair housing training required
Some experience with MS Office Suite (Word and Outlook)
Strong customer service skills

Nice To Haves

CAMT (Apartment Maintenance) certification preferred

Responsibilities

Maintaining and preserving a multi-million dollar luxury community ensuring a quality living experience for our residents
Utilizing troubleshooting and technical skills to identify and resolve issues with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sewer/water, swimming pools and security systems
Developing a strong rapport with residents and assisting them with resolving various general maintenance issues (appliances, flooring, cabinets, locks, drywall, etc.) in a timely manner
Working closely with the service team to prepare vacant apartment units ensuring they are ready to lease to prospective residents per company specifications
Helping the service team maintain a strong curb appeal at the property
