The Maintenance 1 is responsible for maintaining the overall operation of the maintenance department and the appearance and working order of the hotel. This role is responsible for the administration of the company’s maintenance and life safety programs, including purchasing, preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, hotel security, and life safety, and supervision of the maintenance department. The goal is to ensure customer satisfaction by providing warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance, reassuring guests they have made the right choice to stay with the hotel. This includes ensuring compliance with all company, state, local, and federal policies/guidelines for a clean and safe environment for associates, guests, and vendors. The role also ensures the proper operation of the hotel’s equipment and systems, handles maintenance request orders promptly and courteously, communicates regularly with management regarding the building's condition, and supervises external contractors. Adherence to all work rules, procedures, and policies is required.
