About The Position
This Maintenance Technician I position performs labor intensive tasks and routine maintenance to equipment on a daily basis for the City of Conroe's Wastewater Treatment Plants.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of minimum experience
- Valid Class C driver's license or higher
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment plants
- Skill in operating a variety of equipment
- Ability to obtain relevant certifications or licenses
- Ability to understand and follow the City of Conroe and departmental policies and procedures
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
- Must pass background check and pre-employment substance abuse screening
- A motor vehicle record check and job-related doctor's physical exam may also be required
