About The Position
As a Maintenance Technician I, you'll play an important role in keeping the community clean, safe, and well-maintained. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in their craftsmanship, and wants to gain experience across multiple areas of property maintenance while making a positive impact on residents every day.
Requirements
- One year of maintenance, porter, janitorial, landscaping, construction, or related experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
Responsibilities
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and appliance repairs
- Help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the entire property
- Complete routine work orders and preventative maintenance tasks
- Maintain common areas, including the leasing office, clubhouse, fitness center, laundry rooms, restrooms, and model apartments
- Perform landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, edging, fertilizing, and pruning
- Conduct daily property walks and remove trash and debris
- Assist with snow and ice removal to maintain a safe community
- Help maintain pool areas, including basic pool upkeep and water testing
- Pressure wash, paint curbs, and assist with general property upkeep projects
- Support property inspections and safety initiatives
- Accurately document completed work and maintenance activities
- May occasionally assist in cleaning company Airbnb properties
